Investment Professional Intelligence — Florian Neto, CFA | Senior Managing Director & Regional Head of Investments, APAC | State Street Investment Management | Hong Kong SAR

Florian Neto, CFA, has left Amundi Hong Kong, LTD and joined State Street Investment Management as Senior Managing Director and Regional Head of Investments, APAC, effective November 2026.

Previously, he was the managing director and head of investments, Asia at Amundi Hong Kong, LTD (October 2024-November 2026), his responsibilities included portfolio management, research, investment strategy and specialist functions across liquid asset classes. Neto also oversaw the regional alpha and index investment platforms, chaired the Asian Investment Committee, and was an acting CIO of Asian Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions.

Neto was also the head of investments, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan, and CIO of Multi-Asset Solutions, Asia (October 2022 to September 2024), the CIO of Multi-Asset Solutions, Asia and Lead Portfolio Manager (October 2019-September 2022) at Amundi Hong Kong, LTD.

Prior to that, he was a multi-asset solutions portfolio manager at Amundi (Paris) (January 2015-October 2019), managing approximately €4.2 billion in assets and advisory mandates.

Before that, Neto was involved in an investment risk and analytics at Amundi Hong Kong, focusing on portfolio analytics, investment risk, portfolio construction and risk budgeting.

Prior to that, he was a structured products and fund institutional sales at Edmond de Rothschild (January 2009-July 2009) and in multi-asset portfolio manager intern at Société Générale (July 2008-January 2009).

Neto completed the French Baccalaureate, specializing in Mathematics, Physics and Biology, at Institution Stanislas Nice (’04) and holds a Master’s in Management and an MS in Risk and Asset Management from EDHEC Business School (‘10).
