Benoit Fer, previously a Trader specializing in quantitative market making at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB), has joined Qube Research & Technologies (QRT).

Fer was a trader at SG CIB (January 2013–September 2026), where he specialized in quantitative market making.

Prior to that, he was a trader analyst (May 2010–December 2012) and a tactical developer (May 2009–April 2010), focusing on index arbitrage.

Fer completed a postgraduate program in Financial Markets at SKEMA (‘09) and a postgraduate program in Computer Science at INSA Lyon – Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (‘08).

His areas of expertise include equity derivatives and index arbitrage.
