Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments Mr. Rohan Paranjpey has left Waterfield Advisors and joined LGT Wealth India as the CIO - Alternative Investments, effective October 2026.

Rohan Paranjpey joined LGT Wealth India as the Chief Investment Officer – Alternative Investments in October 2026.

Previously, Paranjpey was managing partner at Waterfield Fund of Funds (June 2021–October 2026) and managing director and head of alternative investments at Waterfield Advisors (November 2018–October 2026), where he focused on private equity and venture capital funds and startups.

Earlier, he was a principal at Blume Ventures (July 2015–November 2018), with responsibilities spanning financial technology (FinTech) investments, corporate development, and investor relations. Before that, Paranjpey worked as a manager at Carbon Clean Solutions (June 2013–June 2015) and as an associate at Deutsche Bank (July 2008–April 2012), focusing on interest rates structuring for the Americas.

He holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian School of Business (2013) and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2008).

Mr. Paranjpey speaks German, English, Hindi, and Marathi.
