Mr. Karan Bhatia joined Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, LTD as a fund manager and AVP of fixed income investments in December 2015.
Previously, Mr. Bhatia was a manager – Investments at Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company (December 2012–November 2015). Prior to that, he was an investment manager at Max Life Insurance Company, LTD (May 2010–December 2012). Before that, Mr. Bhatia was a deputy manager – Investments at Future Generali Life Insurance Company, LTD (January 2009–May 2010). Prior to that, he was a research intern at Pipal Research Analytics (May 2008–January 2009) and a research trainee at Pipal Research (May 2008–December 2008).
Mr. Bhatia holds a BComm from the University of Rajasthan and an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from Kirloskar Institute of Management (’08).
